Celebrate Football
The streetfootballworld Festival 16 will the biggest ever ‘football for good’ festival and is an official event of the UEFA EURO 2016. The stars of the festival are the young people from disadvantaged communities all over the world who have earned their place on the pitch through their commitment to changing the world through football.
The festival will take place in the heart of Lyon, France from June 28th to July 7th 2016 and will feature a street soccer tournament played by football3 rules designed to promote tolerance and youth leadership as well as an educational and cultural exchange programme.
The Festival 16 will involve more than 600 people celebrating football for good including 50 countries, 80 delegations, 320 players, 500 participants, 100 staff members, 50 volonteers, ambassadors of football for good, diplomatic community, sponsors and partners.
